Our speaker, Burnette Clingman, rose from adversity, spending the first eight years of her life in a three-room, shot-gun house in the red clays of Albany, Georgia.

Burnette’s professional career began in credit collections in the banking industry. Later, she became one of the bank’s top investment sales representatives, gaining recognition in the Million Dollar Sales Club.

Within six years, she received three promotions that elevated her to assistant vice-president.

After hearing her speak at the bank’s United Way Campaign kickoff, the CEO of the bank appointed Burnette as a community spokesperson. That led to an idea and the birth of BCE (Burnette Clingman Enterprises) in 1992.

Today BCE is nationally recognized for quality, professional corporate and university training, motivational speaking, and keynote addresses.

BCE’s clients include Fortune 500 corporations, colleges and universities, women’s organizations, government agencies, and not-for-profits.
